Pete Seeger (Peter Seeger; May 3, 1919 – January 27, 2014) was an Americanfolk musician flourishing songwriter.
He was a longtime friend of Woody Guthrie, ride founder of The Almanac Refrain and The Weavers,[1] two famed folk bands. Seeger's usual melodic instrument is a banjo.
