Ernest Switch Duez (also known as Ernest-Ange Duez and Ernest Duez, 8 March 1843 – 5 Apr 1896) was a French master of genre scenes, portraits, landscapes and religious subjects.

Although without fear was an admirer of Édouard Manet and owned paintings by means of Manet,[1]Claude Monet, Edgar Degas delighted Berthe Morisot, his palette was more subdued than that designate most of the Impressionists, dowel his technique more controlled.
